The Mansfield Social Services Department and the Council on Aging are now available to take fuel assistance applications for Self-Help Inc., the Salvation Army’s Good Neighbor Energy Fund, and various other fuel assistance resources. To qualify for assistance, you must be income eligible. Click here for the Social Services 2018 Spring newsletter.
For guidelines and information, senior citizens should call the Council on Aging at 508-261-7368. Other community individuals or families under 60 years of age should call the Social Services office at 508-261- 7464. Please call for an appointment.
If you are having trouble paying your electric bill due to financial hardship, please don’t wait until the situation becomes overwhelming. Call Mansfield Electric at 508-261-7361 and ask for Larry Wells at extension 60306 to discuss the possibility of setting up a payment plan that will allow you to keep current on your payments.
